About Us

We at Gillies Funeral Home remain committed to helping families, relatives and friends say farewell to their loved ones as meaningfully as possible. We are doing our part to help "flatten the curve". Steps we have taken include keeping the office open by appointment, encouraging our staff to stay at home and practice social distancing, and increased cleaning and sanitizing throughout the facility. We are following recommendations given to us by the CDC and our national and state funeral director associations. 



Throughout history, human beings have still managed to conduct the rites, rituals and services necessary to honor and remember their beloved dead during challenging times. Therefore, despite the difficulties we now face, both personally and professionally, never doubt that, together, we will all get through this, for this too shall pass.
