Inez L. Roy

Inez L. Roy, 76, of Lincoln, passed away Thursday, August 19, 2021. Born July 25, 1945 to Lloyd and Mona (Lince) Ritchie in Lincoln, MI, she was raised there. On June 20, 1964, she married Charles Roy in Haynes Township MI. They were longtime residents of Trenton. Inez did clerical work in a doctor’s office. She retired to Lincoln in 2017. Inez was an avid reader, she was a wonderful cook, loved to bake, and enjoyed picking berries with her sisters. She was a “hockey mom” and was always involved in her kids’ activities. She enjoyed flowers, her garden and canning what she grew. She is survived by her husband Charlie, two daughters, Trina (Jack) Lengyel and Trista Roy, two sons, Charlie (Cheyanna) Roy and Chad Roy, six grandchildren, Jordan, Tyler, Isla, Chase, Milo, and Phoenix, six sisters, Clara (Vern) Barta, Joyce Keena, Diane (Terry) Sands, Rena Stephenson, Nancy (Harry) Dunn, and Sheri Schmidt, one brother Raymond (Linda) Ritchie, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Tom Keena. Mrs. Roy is at Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln where visitation will be held Saturday, August 21, 2021 from 12:00 PM until the funeral service at 1:00 PM.
