After completing his military service, he transitioned into civilian life and began a career at Chrysler, where his expertise as a master electrician became invaluable. Over the years, he worked tirelessly to master his craft, earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues. He eventually retired from Chrysler, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and commitment that reflected the values instilled in him during his time in the Navy.
He was a man whose kindness and generosity knew no bounds. A true embodiment of selflessness, he would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. His compassion, warmth, and love for those around him made him not only just a family man, but a friend to all who had the privilege of knowing him. William never met a stranger- he welcomed everyone with open arms and a big smile leaving them with his famous words, “Have a beautiful day”. His sense of humor was contagious, and he had an uncanny ability to make people laugh, no matter the situation. His jokes, his laughter, and his genuine joy in life were gifts that he shared freely, brightening even the darkest of days.
