Wanda G. Kaminski

  Wanda G. Kaminski, 80, of Barton City, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Jamieson Nursing Home in Harrisville.   Born March 16, 1939 to Bert and Dora (Wisser) Hayward in Brighton, she was raised in Royal Oak. On September 19, 1959, she married Richard “Dick” Kaminski in Royal Oak. They moved to Warren in 1965. A devoted homemaker, Wanda also worked as a bookkeeper and as a machinist. In 1991, they retired to Barton City. Wanda was active with the Barton City Eagles Club, especially the Back Pack Program. She enjoyed being outside, tending to her flowers and feeding the birds and other animals.   Wanda is survived by her daughter, Lynn (Tony) Schodowski, her son, Mark Kaminski, her grandson, Jacob Schodowski, her sister, Joyce Carne, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dick, on October 21, 2015, and her brother-in-law, Jack Carne.   Mrs. Kaminski is at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln, where friends may call on Saturday, April 20, 2019 from 12:00 PM until the funeral service at 4:00 PM.
