Virginia Dimercurio

Virginia Gillette Dimercurio, the beloved wife of Frank Dimercurio, passed away on Tuesday, September 19th, joining her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  Daughter of Edward and Mary Gillette.  Sister to Thomas Gillette of Atlanta GA and the late Dick and Dave Gillette. 

She was born and raised in Bellevue, MI and over the years she has lived in Macomb Twp, St. Clair Shores and Troy, MI, where with her husband they established their successful business, JR’s for Hair and More.  For nearly three decades, they dedicated their efforts to running the business until hearing a call from God they sold the business and relocated to Harrisville, MI.  With the support of like-minded individuals, they founded The Chosen Ranch.

The Chosen Ranch serves as a haven and home for children in need of a second chance.  Over the years, this ministry has grown and to date touched hundreds of individuals, offering them hope and a fresh start.  Jinny played an integral role nurturing the family, being the caring mother, doting grandmother, and the heart and soul of The Chosen Ranch.

Known for her unwavering optimism, Jinny saw no strangers, only friends she had not yet met.  Her genuine warmth and compassion endeared her to everyone she encountered.  Her legacy will continue to inspire and bring joy to those who were fortunate enough to know her.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Gillies Funeral Home 104 W. Alger St.

Lincoln, MI 48742, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm.

A second visitation will be held on Monday, September 25, 2023 at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home 25800 Harper Ave. St. Clair Shores, MI 48081, from 2:00pm to 9:00pm. A chapel funeral service will take place the following day, Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at 10:00am.
