Arthur D. “Tom” Thomas III, 73, of Harrisville, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at Jamieson Nursing Home in Harrisville.   Born March 21, 1946 to Arthur D. and Mary Jean (Armstrong) Thomas Jr. in Dearborn, MI, he was raised there. On August 16, 1969 he married Patty Conway in Ann Arbor. Tom received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan, and moved to Cincinnati where he worked in computer technology. In 2012 he retired to Harrisville where he enjoyed living on Lake Huron, attending Alcona girls' athletic events, morning coffee with the “Breakfast Club” at Alcona Coffee, open mic nights and any events where musicians were performing, and his time as “The Great Old Man” on WxTF Radio.   Tom is survived by his wife, Patty, his daughter, Tracy Thomas of Cincinnati, OH, two sons, Andy (Mary) Thomas of Columbus, OH, and Joe (Mael) Thomas of Harrisville, six grandchildren, Kent, Carson, and Keaton Thomas, Freyja and Ingrid Fritz-Wilson, and Greta Thomas, two sisters, Abbie Thomas of Midland, and Amy Thomas of Chicago, as well as several nieces and nephews.   Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln. A memorial gathering will be announced at a later date. If you wish to make a memorial donation, the family suggests WxTF Radio, at P.O.
