Tammy Sue Gibbs

Tammy Sue Gibbs, 47, of Ossineke, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2022 at her home. Born July 9, 1975 to Gerald and Sherry (Crevier) Gibbs Sr., in Tawas City, MI, she has lived in the area most of her life. Tammy was raised Catholic, and enjoyed studying her religion, reading prayers, and praying the rosary. She worked as a registered medical assistant. Tammy enjoyed fishing, kayaking, and riding four wheelers. She loved fast cars. Her granddaughters meant the world to her. Tammy is survive by three children, Megan (Chris Utley) LaBonte, Melissa (Ashton Spencer) LaBonte, and Brandon LaBonte, two granddaughters, Miyah Maelynn Spencer and Layla Lynn Utley, her sister, Kristy (Wayne Weeks) Gibbs, two brothers, Gerald (Kristin Lucaroni) Gibbs Jr., and Randy (Shelly) Gibbs, several nieces and nephews, including Angel and Anthony Gibbs, her fiancé, Larry Smith, the father of her children, George LaBonte, and her dear cousin, Lisa Gibbs. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Laura Gibbs. Tammy is at Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln, where visitation will take place on Tuesday, December 20 from 2:00 until 8:00 PM. Visitation will continue Wednesday, December 21, from 10:00 AM until the funeral mass at 11:00 AM at St. Anne Catholic Church in Alpena. Rev. Tyler Bischoff will officiate. Burial will be in Mt.
