Roselyn J. Krentz, 82, of Hubbard Lake, passed away Friday, April 20, 2018 at her home. Born August 26, 1935 to William and Ella (Krist) Hiske in Detroit, MI, she was raised in Hubbard Lake, and has been a lifelong resident of the area. On July 11, 1953, she married Pete Krentz in Wolf Creek. Roselyn was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Hubbard Lake, and spent Mondays quilting with the ladies there. She enjoyed sewing and birdwatching. Roselyn loved gardening, tending to her flowers and vegetables. She is survived by her husband, Pete, her daughter, Kristi Martin of Hubbard Lake, her son, Keith (Justine) Krentz of Hubbard Lake, five grandchildren, Kimberly, Carly, and Cody (Miranda) Martin, and Luke and Olivia Krentz, her sister, Carol Krentz, and her brother, Dennis Hiske. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Jim Martin, her brother William Hiske, and hre brother-in-law, Al Krentz. Her family will receive visitors on Monday, April 23, 2018 at Hope Lutheran Church in Hubbard Lake, from 10:00 AM until the memorial service at 11:00 AM. Rev. Randy Conley will officiate. Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln. Memorial donations are suggested to the Hubbard Lake Fire Department.
