Roger E. Armstrong

Roger E. Armstrong, 70, of Harrisville, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at his home. Born October 3, 1949 to Edwin and Frances (Tibor) Armstrong in Haynes Township, he was a lifelong resident of Alcona County. On July 31, 1971, he married Deborah Baker. Roger was a carpenter and a mechanic. He could fix anything, and built his own house. He loved cars, hunting, and sports. Roger is survived by his wife, Deborah, his daughter, Christine (Grant) Cook of Perrysburg, OH, his son, James Armstrong of Harrisville, three granddaughters, Allyson and Anna Cook, and Myra Armstrong, his sister, Susan Armstrong, and two brothers, Steven and Thomas Armstrong. Mr. Armstrong is at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln where friends may call Saturday, July 11, 2020 from 1:00 PM until the funeral service at 3:00 PM. Rev. Christina Bright will officiate.
