Robert D. Hagerty

Robert (Bob) Dennis Hagerty, age 73, died in Lincoln on Dec. 20. He was born in Detroit to James E. Hagerty and Jean D. (nee Rutledge) Hagerty. He was raised in Royal Oak and the Highland/Milford area and graduated from Milford High School. He served his country in the U.S. Army in Germany for 4 years. He was kind, caring and quick to laugh and smile. He was an excellent mechanic and owned Hag's Radiator Shop in Brighton, MI for many years before moving to Curran these past 8 years. He is survived by his sister, Carole Johnson of Metamora, MI; her step-son, Mark (Amy) Johnson and children Andrea and Mitchell of Clarkston; niece Jody (Scott) Oaks and children Cody and Micaela, and great-great niece Remington of Flint. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother James (2018), brother-in-law Paul Johnson (2018), and brother Larry (2020). Cremation arrangements were made with Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln.
