Rickey O. Wolverton

Rickey O. Wolverton, 70, of Curran, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at his home.   Born March 24, 1948 in Madison, TN, he was raised in Plymouth, MI.  Rickey served in the United States Army from 1965-1968.  On April 2, 1993, he married Anita Chaney in Las Vegas.  They were residents of New Boston and moved to Curran in 1998.  Rickey worked as a cold header operator for Alken Ziegler in Kalkaska and retired in 2007.  Rickey enjoyed winter sports, and riding motorcycles.  He was a member of the Barton City Eagles Aerie 4141, and of the Mikado American Legion Post #254.    Rickey is survived by his wife, Anita Chaney, one daughter, Danielle (Jerod) Crim of TX, two step-children, Kim Dulecki and Paul (Lisa Marcolina) Quillen, two grandchildren, Jamie and Crystal, one great grandson, six, step-grandchildren, Ryan, Jessica, Matthew, Anna, Tony, and Michael, and four step-great grandchildren, and one sister, Jonnie (Mike) Brandon, of TN.  He was preceded in death by his step son-in-law, Jeff Dulecki.    Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln.  To order memorial trees or send flowers to the family in memory of Rickey O.
