Randy L. Keller, 59, of Mikado passed away Monday, January 17, 2022 at Ascension St. John Hospital in Detroit.
Born August 18, 1962, to Neal Keller and Virginia (Kelly) Fankhauser in Columbus, Ohio he was raised in Wierton, West Virginia. On July 23, 1988, he married Cynthia Wright in Las Vegas, Nevada. He served in the United States Air Force and retired as a Technical Sergeant in 2001 from Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri. He moved to Mikado, where he enjoyed working as an automotive technician for Dean Arbor Ford in Tawas City. Randy was a member of the American Legion Mikado Post #254 and the Oscoda Eagles Club. He loved fishing, and was a member of the Bass Anglers of the Sunrise Side. He enjoyed working on cars, playing chess and poker.
Randy is survived by his wife, Cindi, his parents, Sonny and Virginia Fankhauser, two stepchildren, Nikki and Dennis (Brandi) Foster, his grandson Rylan Foster, his sister, Laurie Straight, three brothers, Mike (Janet), Flip, and Greg Fankhauser, his sister-in-law, Connie (Terry) Williams, his brother-in-law, Gene Wright, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 22, 2022 from 1:00 until 4:00 PM at Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln, with military honors at 2:00 PM. Memorial Donations can be made here https://gofund.me/d21c8192 to purchase fishing equipment for children in Randy's memory.
