Philip J. Fisher, 66, of Grand Blanc passed away Thursday, January 24, 2019 at his home. Born July 9, 1952 to Thomas E. and Helen J. (Medor) Fisher in Detroit, MI, he was raised there and Durand. He was a long-time resident of Flint and Grand Blanc, where he made his career with the Grand Trunk Railroad as a Locomotive Engineer. Phil served in the U.S. Army from 1972 until 1975 and was stationed in Panama. He enjoyed reading, and watching sports, and loved music, good food, and his family. Phil is survived by his mother, Helen Fisher of Spruce, two sisters, Sally Ann Fisher and Laurie (Joel) Choate, nine nieces and nephews, and numerous great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas E. Fisher on January 12, 2000, and his brother, Thomas J. Fisher on November 19, 2010. Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
