OlaMae Daroczy, 95, of Lincoln, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2020 at Maple Grove Adult Foster Care in Barton City. Born January 25, 1925 to Rudolph and Myrtle (Belcher) Luttenberger in Paw Paw, MI, she was raised in Detroit. On September 9, 1948, she married Joseph Daroczy in Detroit where they resided until moving to Lincoln in 1968. OlaMae was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Barton City, and of the Burger Wiedbrauk VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed crafts, especially ceramics, and worked at the Craft Maker’s Cabin in Harrisville. OlaMae is survived by two daughters, Joanne (Dan) O’Connor and Susan (Harry) Harvey, three sons, Joseph “Chris” (Anita), Darryl, and David (Debra) Daroczy, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, on December 20, 1996, and by her daughter, Sandra Taylor. Mrs. Daroczy is at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln, where friends may call on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 from 11:00 AM until the funeral service at 2:00 PM. Rev. Christina Bright will officiate. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in the spring. Memorial donations are suggested to Hospice of Michigan.
