Milton Eugene McMaster, 91, of Barton City, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at MidMichigan Medical Center, Alpena. Born April 2, 1930 to John and Gladys (Baldwin) McMaster in Barton City, MI, he was raised there. Milton served in the U.S. Army from 1951 to 1953, and in the U.S. Army Reserves until 1957. He worked as a pulp cutter, and for General Motors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, reading, and feeding the birds. He is survived by two sons, Dennis E. (Mary) McMaster and Lannis McMaster, one daughter, Karen (Jeff) Asselin, five grandchildren, Robert McMaster, Jamie (Kevin) Floyd, Samantha (Brandon) Kludt, Hannah Asselin, and Caden (Ricky) Jeffrey, and seven great grandchildren, Logan, Issac, Gavin, William, Nathen, Brooklyn, and Carter. He was preceded in death by his wife, Verna McMaster and his sister Erma Sanders. Milton’s family will receive visitors on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln.
