Michael Allen Lobaugh, 61, of Ossineke died Monday, November 19, 2018 peacefully in his home after a long battle with cancer. Born August 2, 1957 to Edwin Laverne (Lucky) and Mabel Aurela (Darling) Lobaugh in Alpena, he was raised and lived most of his life in Alcona County. Michael graduated from Alcona High School and was employed by CoachCraft in Lincoln for many years as an autobody technician and mechanic. He later worked as a lumberman and all-around handyman. Michael was an avid fisherman, hunter, talented artist, and music enthusiast. He started everyday appreciating the morning sunrise and shared them with the world. Michael is survived by his long-time partner Janet LeSage, four children, Ivy (Jon) Pfoutz of Harrisville, Melissa (Darrick) Hart of Ossineke, Michael Allen (Kayla) Lobaugh II of Mikado, Clara Louise Craig of Monet, Missouri, two step-sons, Jesse (Kristen) LeSage of Ossineke, Brendan (Trista) LeSage of Ossineke, 11 grandchildren, Makenna and Sawyer Seminoff of Harrisville, Michael and Kaden Hart of Ossineke, Gavin and Nevaeh Lobaugh of Mikado, Justine, Hailey, and Peyton LeSage of Ossineke, Dakota LeSage of Ossineke, Justice LeSage of Arizona, Five siblings, Martha (Arthur) Michaud of Harrisville, Marie (Terry) Atherton of Gordon (Tom) Lobaugh of Lincoln, Walter (Missy) Lobaugh of Hubbard Lake, Robert (Delores) Lobaugh of Sterling Heights and many nieces and nephews and long-time friends. He was preceded in death by his brother Charles William (Bill) Lobaugh, and sisters Dorothy Mae (James) Frederick, and Barbara Maryann (Gordon) Fox. Mr. Lobaugh is at Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln, where friends may call on Saturday, November 24, 2018 from 11:00 AM until the funeral service at 1:00 PM.  Burial will be in Mt.
