Michael E. Brown

Michael Edward “Mike” Brown, 73, passed away Sunday October 23, 2022, at his home. Born October 24, 1948, to Walter J. and Claudia M. (Shoultz) Brown in Vincennes, IN, he was raised there. On November 7, 1970, he married Agnes “Aggie” Painter in Vincennes, IN. Mike served proudly in the U.S. Air Force and retired as a Tech Sergeant to Oscoda, MI in 1987. Mike was a member of the American Legion Post #73 in Vincennes, IN. He enjoyed bowling, square dancing, and NASCAR. Mike is survived by his wife, Aggie, two daughters, Michele “Shelly” Reinhard (Christopher Stults) and Christina “Chrissy” Emerys-Brown (Asia), granddaughters, Jessica (Brandon), Bryana (Brian) and Megan Reinhard and Diana Stults, great-grandchildren, John and Mason Dixon, Laeilyn, Vhaelyn, Emerson, and Gracelyn Turner, Nathaniel Jr. and Stephanie Schultz and Joseph Raupp Jr. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, James Brown, and two great grandchildren Braelyn and Carson Turner. Mr. Brown is at Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln, where visitation will be Friday, October 28, 2022, from 2:00 until 8:00 PM. Memorial donations are suggested to the Wounded Warriors Project.
