Mary L. Ross

Mary L. Ross, 71, of Alpena, formerly of Lincoln, passed away Thursday, August 1, 2019 at Mid Michigan Medical Center, Alpena.   Born March 2, 1948 to Carl and Flossie (Atherton) Downing in Lincoln, she was raised there. She lived in Bay City from 1974 until returning to Lincoln in 1986. She recently moved to Alpena. Mary enjoyed BINGO, crossword puzzles, and fishing. She attended Northland Baptist Church in Ossineke.   Mary is survived by two sons, Carl and Robert Skuse, 11 grandchildren, Liam Earegood, Matthew Skuse, Cameron Skuse, Trevor Thacker, Alex Thacker, Kyle Skuse, Cody Skuse, Victoria Skuse, Michael Skuse, David Pickle, and Christopher (Danielle) Pickle, and three brothers. She was preceded in death by her husband Tom Ross, her sister Carol Downing, and her former husband John Skuse.   Mrs. Ross is at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln, where friends may call Tuesday, August 13, 2019 from 12:00 until the funeral at 3:00 PM.
