Marielle P. Alger

Mrs. Marielle P. Alger, age 90, of Sarasota, Florida, passed away on April 8, 2020, in the home of her son and daughter-in-law in Casco Township with her family by her side. She was born on December 13, 1929, in Montreal, Quebec, to the late Joseph and Corinne Mousseau. Marielle married Robert Edwin Alger. He preceded her in death on May 17, 1995. She was active in Venetian Park Estates in Sarasota and spent her summers in Lincoln, Michigan. Marielle enjoyed painting, carving, sewing and was known for running large garage sales in Michigan and Florida. Marielle is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Robert (Kathleen) Alger of Casco, 3 grandchildren, Yvette (Bryan) Wicker, Robert B. Alger and Nicholas J. Alger, 3 great-grandchildren, Charles, Samantha and Nicholas, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Janine Papineau and 2 brothers, Guy and Jean Mousseau.
