Margaret "Peg" Somers

Margaret Lue SomersJuly 10, 1925 - July 30, 2019Margaret was 94 years old. Born July 10, 1925 to Lewis Herman and Fannie Mae (Small) McFadden in Grand Ledge Michigan. She was married to Herman at Court Street Methodist Church in Flint Michigan in 1945  until 2006, 64 years. Margaret worked as a payroll clerk at Willow Run Bomber Plant in Ypsilanti during WWII, Montgomery Ward and was a secretary at Aldersgate Methodist church. She was on the Redford Township Historical Society and volunteered for Redford meals on wheels. Beloved mother of Deb (Patrick) Burbank and the late Jeffery, mother in law of Kathy Satter. Dear sister of Daniel McFadden, Bill McFadden, Glenna Putney, Richard ( Marilyn) McFadden and the late Jim McFadden. Margaret was a loving Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt, Great Aunt, Great Great Aunt and a Great Great Great Aunt. Visiting will be Saturday August 3rd 3 pm until 7 pm funeral services at Charles R. Step Funeral Home 18425 Beech Daly (between 6-7 Mile) in Redford 48420 (313) 531-1888.
