Luella C. MacGregor

  Luella C. MacGregor, 81, of Harrisville, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Mid Michigan Medical Center, Alpena.   Born November 2, 1937 to Clifford and Helen (Cordes) Kelly in Ortonville, MI, she was a resident of Alcona County most of her life. On January 15, 1957, she married Edward MacGregor in Harrisville. Luella was a Postal Carrier with the U.S. Postal Service, and carried mail to Lincoln, Barton City, and Curran. She was an active member of New Life Lutheran Church, and of its choir. She enjoyed baking, gardening, and decorating for the seasons. She was a talented artist, who enjoyed painting.   Luella is survived by her husband, Edward, her daughter, Ann Marie (Pat) Coomes of Mikado, her son, Edward (Kelly) MacGregor Jr. of Allen Park, four grandchildren, Jennifer and Patrick Coomes, and Devin and Brandon MacGregor, and her brothers, Jim (Faye) Kelly of Harrisville. She was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.   Friends may call on Saturday, April 20, 2019 from 10:00 AM until the Memorial Service at 11:00 AM at New Life Lutheran Church, 25 Kirche in the Woods, Spruce, MI, 48762. Memorial donations are suggested to New Life Lutheran Church. Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln.
