Lucinda Faye Chase

Lucinda Faye “Cindy” Chase, 65, of Lincoln, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2022, at home. Born January 23, 1957, to Melvin and Gertrude (Fowler) Ward in Flint, MI, she was raised there. Cindy worked for many years as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She enjoyed antiquing and attending family functions. Cindy is survived by two sons, Edward and David Cox, her parents, Melvin and Gertrude Ward, two sisters, Brenda Ward Hammon and Patricia Ward Beins, one brother, Melvin Ward, her former spouse and caregiver, Jimmy Chase, as well as several cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her special aunt, Verda Ward on January 29, 2022. Visitation will Saturday, March 12, 2022 from 1:00 PM until the memorial service at 2:00 PM at Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln.
