Lela B. Cushion

Lela B. Cushion, 91, of East Tawas, passed away at home on Monday, October 25, 2021. Born November 26, 1929 to James and Dorothy (Castner) Arquilla in Chicago, IL, she was raised in Harrietta, MI. Lela moved to Oscoda in 1969. She worked in the food service department at Wurtsmith Air Force Base. She was a member of the Oscoda Assembly of God. She loved the church, and enjoyed participating whenever she could. Lela is survived by three sons, Daniel, Michael, and James Baxter, 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren. Mrs. Cushion is at Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln, where visitation will be held on Saturday, October 30 from 1:00 until the funeral service at 2:00 PM. Rev. Eric Hendricks will officiate.
