Kim Ira Monnier, 68, of Mikado, passed away February 19, 2023. He was born November 12, 1954, in Algonac, MI. He spent his childhood and most of his adult life in Harrisville, MI. Kim worked for Alcona Community Schools for 31 years and 6 years at McDonalds in Oscoda before retiring. He enjoyed sculpting with wood and metal, camping, canoeing, and quiet walks in the woods with Judy and Peanut. He is survived by his partner, Judy Fall, and the joy of his life, his puppy Peanut, his three sons, Jason Monnier, Steven (Dawn) Fall Jr., and Tim (Miranda) Fall, four granddaughters, Autumn Schwarz, and Sarah, Natalie, and Delilah Fall, and one grandson, Trenton (Alex) Schnabel, three sisters, Cherie Ash, Nikki (Rod) Smith, and Lori Tartaglia, many nieces and nephews, and his best friends Gary and Kelly Irving and family, Roger Lemons, and many others who touched his life. He was preceded in death by his father Keith B. Monnier, his mother, Marion E. (Johnson) Monnier Tartaglia and his stepfather Nick Tartaglia. Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln.
