Keith Craig Thompson

Keith Craig Thompson, 37, of Harrisville, passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2022 as the result of an automobile accident. Born March 23, 1984 to Irwin “Hank” and Pamela (Wilson) Thompson in Alpena, he was raised in Harrisville. Keith was a skilled mechanic, and there was not an engine he would not tackle. Keith was a former member of the Alcona Township and Lincoln Fire Department. On September 4, 2021, he married Danielle Zeglevski in Mikado. Keith enjoyed hunting and his hobby farm, where he raised cows, pigs, and chickens. His pride and joy was his family. Keith is survived by his wife, Danielle, his children, Andrea Thompson, Alyssa, Nikolai, and Gabriel, his mother, Pam Wilson, his brother, Guy (Sam) Thompson, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and his niece Mekala and his nephew Justin. He was preceded in death by his brother, Andrew Thompson, his father Hank Thompson, Cathy Dettling, and his grandparents, George “Babe” and Yvonne Wilson and Fred and Ionia Thompson. Danielle will receive visitors at Gillies Funeral Home on Monday, January 17 from 6:00 until 9:00. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 from 11:00 AM until the funeral service at 2:00 PM at Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln. Rev. Christina Bright and John Douglas will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Joy Cemetery, Haynes Township, Michigan. Danielle will host a Celebration of Keith’s life at the Black River Hall following the committal service.
