John Roll

John Roll Jr., 85, of Lincoln, passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at his home. Born July 19, 1935 to John Sr. and Gladys Roll in Detroit, he was raised there. On January 29, 1954 he married Geraldine Burke in Warren, where they were longtime residents. John worked for many years as a truck driver for Bliss and Laughlin and retired to Lincoln. He was a member of the Ossineke Eagles. He loved to wander in his woods and enjoyed hunting and fishing. John is survived by his wife, Geraldine, two daughters, Dawn (Dave) Fletcher and Robin (Jim) Pomaville, and two sons, Terry and Todd Roll, his daughter-in-law, Nancy Roll, 14 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and his brother, Joe (Barbara) Roll. He was preceded in death by three sons, John Jr., Jerry, and Kenn Roll, and two brothers, Bobby and Jim Roll. Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln.
