Jodie Lynn Waibel

Jodie L. Waibel, 48, of Hubbard Lake, passed away Monday December 2, 2019 at Saginaw St. Mary’s Hospital.   Born May 12, 1971 to George and Linda (Barton) Schroeder in Newberry, MI, she was a resident of Alcona County most of her life. She was an excellent cook and was loved by anyone who met her. She had an affinity for animals and loved caring for them.   Jodie is survived by two sons, Melvin Vliet of Tawas City, and John Rickert of Monroe, two grandchildren, Matthew Vliet and Annabelle Nolan, her mother, Linda Schroeder, her father figure Donald Bartz, and three brothers, Joe, Eric, and Billy Schroeder. She was preceded in death by her husband John Waibel and her father.   Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln.
