August 31, 1936 — April 5, 2021

Jo Ann Stoinski, 84 of Lincoln, Michigan passed away on April 5, 2021 in Clarkston, MI. Joann was born in Chattaroy, W. VA on August 31, 1936 to Ben and Aline Sammons. Jo Ann believed that you make the best of what you have, work hard, support and love your family. She moved to Lincoln in 1964 and for the next 54 years she touched the lives of many. Jo Ann operated a daycare for many kids that would become her family forever. It was not uncommon to see children lined up on a picnic table enjoying ice cream cones or playing kickball in the yard. She could always provide a laugh or two about all of them. For many, the smell of homemade cinnamon rolls or bread became a familiar smell that made you happy. Joann is preceded in death, by her husband Bruno of 30 years, in addition to sisters, Mary Lou May and Wilma Sammons. She is survived by her children Nancy Thomas (Ray), Jimmy Skuse (Christine), Jami Reichert (Walt) and Jodi Bolam. Grandchildren, Matthew Thomas, Kyle Bolam (Lauren) and Shelby Bolam (Josh) and four siblings, Barbara Kohari, Naomi Stollings (James), Benny Ray Sammons (Hazel) and Lucy Pinson (Moses).
