Jerry L. Stone

Jerry L. Stone, 74, of Harrisville, passed away Friday, January 17, 2025 at his home.

Born February 21, 1950 to William M. and Lula Mae (Forsythe) Stone in Harrisville, he was a lifelong resident of the area. Jerry served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked as a Machinist and in Quality Control at Northern Precision. On August 31, 2000, he married Linda Goddard in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. Jerry was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing and hunting, especially coon hunting with his dogs. He was a member of the Northeastern Michigan Coon Hunters Association. He loved to work in his garden, and reading. In retirement, Jerry learned RV repair, and enjoyed travelling. 

Jerry is survived by his wife, Linda, his son, Jason Stone, two granddaughters, Alexandria Klonowski and Alisha Stone, three great granddaughters, Ellie, Charlotte, and Loralei, his siblings, Tom Stone, and Connie Hill, his sisters-in-law, Beth Travis and Judy Stone, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Jim Stone in 1969, Bobby Stone in 1995, and Billy Stone in 2023, and his sister-in-law, Darlene Stone. 

Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln. Private services have been held.
