Janice Fay Byce, 79, of Mikado, passed away Sunday, March 7, 2020 at her home. Born March 27, 1941 to George and Alvena (Liensman) Barlow in Harrisville, she was raised in Mikado. Fay owned and operated an adult foster care for several years, and later owned and operated the Greenbush Market. On July 23, 1992, she married Larry Byce. Fay was a member of the Mikado American Legion, and loved to play Euchre. She is survived by her daughter Marta (Wayne) Nedo of Mikado, her son Greg (Teri) Good of Mikado, three grandchildren, Dan (Crystal) Nedo, Doug (Kendall) Nedo, and Jennifer (Ted) Lilley, and seven great grandchildren, Kennedy, Harper, Bradley, and Hannah Nedo, and Michael, Wade, and Adeline Lilley. She was preceded in death by her husband Larry, November 16, 2008, and her brother Dale Barlow. Mrs. Byce is at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln, where friends may call on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 from 11:00 AM until the funeral at 1:00 PM.
