Janet L. Fisher, 70, of Spruce, passed away Thursday, October 18, 2018 at her home. Born December 23, 1947 to Ezra and Maxine (Feeney) Pulley in Inkster, she was raised there and in Spruce. Janet graduated from Alcona High School in 1966. She married Raymond Fisher on August 1, 1966, in Detroit, and they were residents of Millington. Janet enjoyed crafts and was a talented artist. She especially enjoyed time with her grandsons, and rarely missed one of their events or an opportunity to volunteer. Janet is survived by her husband Ray, two sons, Troy (Sherry) Fisher of Frankenmuth, MI, and Tom (Kelly) Fisher of Goodrich, four grandsons, Nick, Nate, Cole, and Chase Fisher, three sisters, Phyllis (Donald) Kilgore, Mary Parrish, and Rose (Roy) Cook, one brother, Richard Pulley, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Barb Blackford and one brother, Don Pulley. Mrs. Fisher is at Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln, where friends may call on Saturday, October 20, 2018 from 3:00 until 8:00 PM. Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Sunday, October 21, 2018 from 12:00 PM until the funeral service at 1:00 PM. Rev. Christina Bright will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Spruce. Memorial donations are suggested to McLaren Home Care and Hospice, 2078 M-32 West, Alpena, MI 49707.
