James E. Medore

James E. Medore, 78, of Harrisville, passed away Saturday October 9, 2021 at his home. Born January 1, 1943 to Raymond and Mary Venetta (Sharboneau) Medore in Flint, he was raised in Davison. Jim worked for Chevy Metal Fabrication in Flint. He retired to Harrisville in 1992 after 30 years. He was a member of St. John’s Church in Davison. Jim loved his garden, hunting, fishing, and tinkering on things. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles in Davison, the Shriners in Flint, and of the Mikado American Legion. Jim is survived by four sons, Anthony James (Sheryl), Michael Christopher (Kimberly), John Edward (Martha), and Raymond Andrew (Bridget) Medore, eight grandchildren, Joshua, Daniel, Andrew, Derek, Ryanne, Isaac, Bently, and Reece Medore, six great grandchildren, two sisters, Marianne Greiner and Francis Forester, as well as many friends, family, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Bernadette and Barbara Medore and Margaret Becker. A Memorial Mass will be held Thursday, October 28, 2021 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Davison.
