James F. Larson

James F. Larson, 56, of Spruce, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2020. Born June 17, 1964 to Jerome and Glenda (Jackson) Larson in Monticello, MN, he was raised there. James served in the U.S. Army and the U.S. National Guard. On December 19, 1987, he married Christine Brady in Berlamont, MI. They moved to Spruce in 1997. James was a voice for local veterans, doing anything he was able to do to help. He enjoyed farming, especially helping his daughter with her chickens. He is survived by his wife, Christine, daughter, Anna Larson, son, Jay Larson, his father Jerome Larson, his sister Mary Zellar, and four brothers, John, Neal, Mark, and Paul Larson. He was preceded in death by his mother Glenda Larson. Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln. A celebration of life will be held Sunday, August 16, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the Shin-Ga-Ba Shores park in Ossineke, MI. To order memorial trees or send flowers to the family in memory of James F.
