Jacqueline R. “Jackie” Lynch, 76, of Lincoln, passed away Saturday, February 29, 2020 at her home. Born November 12, 1943 to Raymond and Mary (Simpson) Ackerson in Farmington, MI, she was raised there and in Brighton. On June 5, 1964, she married Rolland Lynch in Brighton, where they resided before moving to Howell. Rolland’s service moved them around the country, and they spent several years in Alaska, before moving to Lincoln in 1986. Jackie and Rolland owned and operated Granny’s Kitchen at the South End of Hubbard Lake from 1986 until 1998. Jackie loved her family, and especially enjoyed family get togethers, where she was known for joking around with her family and friends. She enjoyed cooking and crochet. Jackie is survived by her husband Rolland, two sons, Rolland Lynch and Michael Lynch, two grandsons, Owen and Parker Lynch, four sisters, Mary Lou (Jerry) Elliott, Nancy Gale, Grace (Larry) Kalk, and Nina Ackerson, two brothers, Arthur (Paulette) and Robert Ackerson, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Susan (John) Hinde and her brother Jay Ackerson. Friends may call on Monday, March 2, 2020 from 12:00 PM until the memorial service at 2:30 PM at Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln. Rev. Dr. Arie Van Brenk will officiate. Memorial donations are suggested to Hospice of Michigan.
