Ivan W. Wagner

Ivan W. Wagner, 77, of Oscoda, passed away Saturday, August 5, 2023, at MyMichigan Medical Center in Alpena. Born July 23, 1946, to Morris and Esther (Brandt) Wagner in Lincoln, Nebraska, he was raised in California. On January 30, 1981, he married Patricia Pikl in Caribou, Maine. Ivan served in the United States Air Force and retired as Master Sergeant in 1990. In 1998, he moved to Oscoda. Ivan was a member of the AuSable Valley Trail Riders, and of The Geezers shooting league in Tawas. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and playing poker. Ivan is survived by his wife, Patty, three children, Kim Wagner, Paige (Dave) Fleming, and Tamara Wagner, two grandchildren, Bryson and Molly, and four nephews, Frank, Morris, Jeff Fish, and Clint Pittenger. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Judy and Pat, and his nephew Scott. Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln.
