Iva M. Dellar

Iva M. Dellar, 93, of Harrisville passed away Saturday, May 12, 2018 at her home.   Born April 30, 1925 to Lawrence and Susan (Paul) Healy in Glennie, MI, she was raised there.  Iva married Howard Dellar on August 17, 1946 in Glennie. Howard and Iva farmed in Harrisville Township until they retired.  Iva was active with 4H groups, including livestock and cake decorating. Her hobby was quilting, she had made numerous quilts for family members and friends over the years.  She was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church in Mikado. She enjoyed working with the ladies in Ladies Missionary Fellowship and taught Sunday School. She is survived by her daughter, Rita (Brian) Bennett, and two sons, Howard (Marilyn) Dellar and Jim (Cora) Dellar, nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and her sister Beatrice Dellar.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard on November 9, 1987, her infant son Lawrence, and six brothers and sisters. Mrs. Dellar is at Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln, where friends may call on Tuesday, May 15, from 2:00 until 8:00 PM.  Visitation will continue Wednesday, May 16, at Calvary Baptist Church in Mikado from 10:00 AM until the funeral service at 11:00 AM.  Rev.
