Gloria J. Stanowski

Gloria J. Stanowski, 68, of Hubbard Lake, passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at Mid-Michigan Medical Center, Alpena.   She was born July 3, 1951, to Richard and Mary (Gilkey) Wade in Ypsilanti, MI. Gloria worked in Human Resources at Graebel Moving and Storage retiring in 2008. On October 13, 2012 she married Edward Stanowski in Taylor, MI. They were longtime residents of Romulus and moved to Hubbard Lake in 2015. Gloria loved the water, she enjoyed fishing, boating, and kayaking. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed her snowmobile.   Gloria is survived by her husband, Ed, two daughters, Deanna (Mark) Mullins and Kristy Morris, one son, Gary (Tracy) Groves, two stepdaughters, Heather Monte and Jessica Dufore, 15 grandchildren, six great grandchildren, five siblings, and her beloved canine friends, Oscar, Stella, Boo, and Zoey.   Mrs. Stanowski is at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln, where friends may call on Monday, November 4, 2019 from 11:00 AM until the funeral service at 1:00 PM.
