Glenda C. Donaldson

Glenda C. Donaldson, 90, of Barton City, passed away February 11, 2025 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Born May 23, 1934 to Pete and Lola (Bruce) Cutsinger, in Detroit, MI, she was raised in the Detroit area. On July 30, 1955, she married Orville “Joe” Donaldson. They retired to Barton City in 1986. Joe preceded her in death on December 18, 2020. Shortly after, Glenda moved with her son to Fowlerville, and spent her winters in Fort Pierce, Florida. Glenda was a longtime, active member of the Ossineke Eagles Club. She was an excellent cook, and loved cooking for Club events. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, and was an avid bowler.

Glenda is survived by three sons, Joey, Dave, and Dale Donaldson, seven grandchildren, Karen (Joe) Vanderhoof, and Bryan, Sydney, Kenny, Jake, Danny, and Holly Donaldson, and her devoted caregiver, Kimberly Perrigan. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Troy Donaldson, and five siblings, Fred, Warren, Ken “Smokey”, Howard, and Sherri Cutsinger.

Per Glenda’s wishes, there will be no funeral services. Burial will be in Maple Ridge Cemetery, Barton City. Arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln.
