Gary L. Cattin

Gary L. Cattin, 84, of Lincoln, passed away Friday, September 16, 2022, at his home. Born November 19, 1937, to Claude E. and Doris (Repp) Cattin in Miami County, IN, he was raised in Detroit. Gary worked as a computer data specialist for General Motors and later as an entrepreneur in the information technology industry. On March 7, 1986, he married Janice Asuncion in Las Vegas. They were residents of Warren before travelling the country in their motor home for seven years. They settled in Tuscon AZ before moving to Lost Lake Woods Club, where Gary had been a member since 1965. Gary was a member of Westlawn Masonic Lodge, now known as Wayne Lodge #112 where he was past Worshipful Master, and later a member of Alcona Lodge #292. He was a member of Spruce Presbyterian Church where he served as Church Elder. Gary loved classic cars and motorcycles and enjoyed playing golf. Gary is survived by his wife, Janice, four children, Claudette (Robert) Pegram and Jeffrey (Lesa) Cattin, and Joy Glumm and Paula Potter, eight grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, his sister, Kay Martin, and his brother, Terry (Judy) Cattin. He was preceded in death by his daughter Babette Bastion on March 23, 2015, and by his sister, Donna Gaither. Private funeral services will be held Friday, September 23, 2022, at Spruce Presbyterian Church. Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln.
