Ernest R. Andree

Ernest R. Andree, 84, of Harrisville, passed away Friday, May 8, 2020, at his home in Harrisville. Born May 2, 1936 to Ernst and Lydia (Haase) Andree in Detroit, MI, he was raised there. Ernest served in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1957. On September 17, 1960, he married Elizabeth Wright in Detroit. They were residents of Detroit and Livonia. Ernest worked in Industrial Insulation and was a member and past president of the Local 25 Heat and Frost Insulators. He retired to Harrisville in 1995. He was a member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Lincoln, and of the Harrisville Lions Club. He enjoyed fishing, boating, camping, and working a good Sudoku puzzle. Ernest is survived by his wife, Elizabeth, three children, Larry E. Andree of Livonia, Julie E. (K. Mark) Langdon of Plymouth, and Krista L. (Gary) Gallo of Cape Coral Fl, nine grandchildren, Crystal (Justin) Qualkenbush, Ryan, Derek, and Danielle Andree, Benjamin and Emily Langdon, and Samantha, Erin, and Delaney Gallo, two great grandchildren, Isaac and Elliot Qualkenbush, his beloved canine friend Molly, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marian Jones. Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
