Denelle Marie Havercroft

Denelle M. Havercroft, 27, of Chicago, IL, passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021. Born July 9, 1994, to Timothy and Dawn (Apsey) Havercroft in Alpena, she was raised in Greenbush. A graduate of Alcona High School, Denelle earned her bachelor’s degree in Apparel and Textile Design from Michigan State University in 2017. She worked for Tri Coastal Design in New York until moving to Chicago where she was a merchandiser for Li & Fung Miles Fashion. Denelle loved to travel, having just returned from Dublin Ireland. She enjoyed painting, yoga, ice skating, swimming, cooking, and reading. She adored spending time with her beloved rescue dog, Rosalyn. Denelle is survived by her parents, Tim and Dawn Havercroft, her brother Mitchel Havercroft, her dear soulmate, Garrett Cook, her grandmother, Barb Apsey, aunts and uncles, Traci Apsey, Mike Apsey & Roberta Kajfosz, Scott & Julie Havercroft, Paul Havercroft, Fred & Rose Havercroft, Doug & Perri Staples, Trudie Root, and Neil and Nancy Hook, as well as several cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Delbert Apsey, and Edgar and Lucille Havercroft. Visitation will take place on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at the Calvary Baptist Church in Mikado from 10:00 AM until the funeral service at 1:00 PM. Rev. Tim Steiner will officiate.
