Darlene G. Stone

Darlene Gail Stone (Elowsky) went peacefully to be with the Lord on 14 July 2024.

Darlene will be loving remembered by her husband of 66 years Thomas Stone, her children Reta, LeeAnn (Chris), and Ted, and her grandchildren Michael, Sydney and Marisa. 

 Darlene is also survived by her brothers Roger Elowsky (Cindy) and Terry Elowsky (Darlene). Brother and Sister in laws Judy Stone (William), Jerry Stone (Linda) and Connie (Jim). 

Darlene was born on 22 November 1938 in Alpena, Michigan and lived in Leer Michigan until she married and relocated to Harrisville, Michigan.

Darlene retired from the Harrisville State Park, and also was an active member as an EMT in Alcona for many years.

Darlene believed in living the DASH, November 22, 1938- July 14, 2024, 85 years of it she lived each day like it was the best. Walking, gardening, rock picking or volunteering. There will be a big empty space now that she is gone.

Memorial arrangements will be announced at a later date. Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln.
