Dale L. Wiley

Dale L. Wiley, 79, of Barton City, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2022 He was born September 16, 1942, to Julius and Lucille (McCurdy) Wiley in Woodhull, Illinois. He grew up in Hannibal, Missouri and served in the US Army. He was a longtime resident of Lincoln Park and upon retiring from GM after 30 years he moved to Barton City. Dale enjoyed hunting, fishing & spending time with his friends. He is survived by his daughter Patricia Wiley and five of his sisters: Anna May White (Darrell), Cecila Regan (Marlin), Mary Ann, Eva Mae Kiser (Roy) and Linda Sue Powell (Butch), and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice (Grady Avigne) Wiley, son Grant Wiley three brothers: Louis (Leonna), Keith (Ronnie), and William Wiley, and two sisters: Joan Carroll (Gene) Peggy Crone (James). A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln.
