Dale L. Regier

Dale L. Regier, 77, of Glennie, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2024 at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey.

Born July 25, 1946, to Leonard G. and Oliva Fay (Sands) Regier in Glennie, he was raised in Pontiac, MI. Dale worked for the Pontiac Press, and at McDonalds, and moved back to Glennie in the early 1970s. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lincoln. Dale was the ultimate play partner, and was always playing with the kids. He enjoyed playing the guitar, singing, and square dancing. He was a volunteer at the Glennie and Lincoln branches of the ACCOA. 

Dale is survived by five nieces and one nephew, numerous great, great great, and great great great nieces and nephews, and his sister-in-law, Karen Kimberlin. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two half brothers, Howard (Gloria) and Ivan Kimberlin. 

Dale is at Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln, where visitation will be held Saturday, July 20, 2024 from 4:00 until 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be Sunday, July 21, 2024 at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church in Lincoln. Dr. Rev. Arie Van Brenk will officiate. Burial will be in the Glennie Cemetery.
