Beverly Jean Niedermiller, 93, passed away on January 30, 2025. She was the widow of Herbert Charles Niedermiller who preceded her in death. They shared many years of marriage until his death in 1983.
Born in Peoria, Illinois, she was the daughter of Edna Pretty and Harvey Vielhak. She graduated from Bradley University with a Bachelor of Science and received her Master of Arts in Anthropology at Arizona State University in 1990. She was a teacher at various schools in Michigan, Massachusetts and Arizona.
She is survived by her three children, Douglas Niedermiller of Colorado, Craig Niedermiller of Nova Scotia, and Jan (Niedermiller) Kleinrath of North Carolina, one grandson and one great-grandson.
She was an avid reader, loved painting and gardening. She had volunteered in Harrisville at the Sturgeon Point Lighthouse and the Old Bailey School. She was also a member of the Garden Club.
She came to Greenbush as a summer resident and after her retirement she lived here full time.
