Betty Jean Anderson

Betty Jean Anderson, 83, of Lincoln, passed away Thursday, November 4, 2021, at MidMichigan Medical Center, Alpena. Born July 6, 1938 to Forest E. and Alice (Alcorn) Bowers in Hawes Township, MI, she was a lifelong resident of the area. On February 1, 1958 she married Samuel G. Anderson. He preceded her in death on January 28, 2004. Betty is survived by her four children, Timothy Anderson, Cindy (Dale) McAlpine, and their children Shawn, Amber, and Trudi, Kerry (Christine) Anderson and their children Kerrine, Adrianna and Korry, and Michael (Kerry Gonyea) Anderson and their daughters Kara and Myra, and her brother, Henry Bowers. She was preceded in death by her siblings, June Dorr, Junior Bowers, Harry Bowers, Esther Reynolds, and Jimmy Bowers. Mrs. Anderson is at Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln where visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 from 12:00 PM until the funeral service at 2:00 PM.
