Becki L. Wassmann

Becki L. Wassmann, 50, of Mikado, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2022, at her home. She left us all peacefully with the love of her life by her side after a long, hard, battle with cancer. Born December 20, 1971, to Terry Stuit and Cheryl Travis she was a lifelong resident of the area. Becki was so kind to everyone she knew and was always there to help anyone out. She loved to cook for everyone. She enjoyed being with family and friends and most of all vacationing with her soulmate Butch. She also enjoyed BINGO, going to the casino, and fishing. Becki was a hard working strong woman who could outwork most men. Becki is survived by three children, James Wassmann, Hannah Wassmann, and Sarah (Justin) Apsey, her parents, Terry Stuit and Cheryl Travis, three sisters, Vicki Wassmann, Nicki (Jeff) Bartz, and Tamie Stuit, several nieces and nephews, three stepchildren, Nicole, Warren and Jacob Woods, and one grandson. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mary and Jack Stuit and Fritz and Betty Travis, and her cousin Katy Travis. Visitation will be Saturday, May 7, 2022, from 1:00 PM until the memorial service at 2:00 PM at Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln.
