Beatrice J. Schrade, 96, of Mikado, passed away Friday, November 15, 2024 at Jamieson Nursing Home in Harrisville.
Born February 4, 1928, to Edward and Hazel (Miller) Schrade in Mikado, she has been a lifelong resident of the area. Beatrice graduated from Oscoda High School. She was a nurse’s aide, and worked at Jamieson Nursing Home and Schrade Adult Foster Care. She enjoyed selling AVON products. She was an avid quilter, and loved spending time with her horses. She worked on the family farm, and enjoyed fishing.
Beatrice is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Schrade, and four brothers, Douglas, Ralph, Donald and Lloyd Schrade.
Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln.
