Anthony "Tony" Maxwell Frawley, 68, of Hubbard Lake, Michigan, known to his grandchildren as Madmax, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on Jan. 28, 2022.
Tony was born July 12, 1953, in Saginaw, Michigan, to John "Jack" Edward Frawley and Shirley Marguerite Frawley, both of whom preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his grandson Nathan Maxwell Cline and his nephew Matthew Troy Frawley. He graduated from Irmo High School In Irmo, South Carolina, in 1971, and enlisted in the United States Marine Corp completing his boot camp at Parris Island, South Carolina. He achieved the rank of Master Sergeant during his tenure in the Marine Corps.
Tony loved his family. He loved fishing and boating. He was a firearm enthusiast and collector. He was a very talented musician and woodcarver. He lived in Auburn, California, for many years, where he owned his own business, F.I.N.E. Networks, as a computer network engineer. He returned to Michigan in 2010 and lived in Harrisville and then Hubbard Lake.
He is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Gwen (Brad) Frawley-Cline, Shannon Marie Floyd-Frawley; step-son Chadd McKinley Perry; and grandchildren Robert Jordan Cline, Rachael Morgan Cline, Cleo Savannah Floyd-Johnstone and McKinley Rose Perry. He is also survived by five siblings, Patrick John (Barbara) Frawley, Mary Teresa (David) Schanz, Daniel Martin Frawley, Laura Ann Frawley, and Michael William (Kathy) Giffin, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
