Anna M. Michel

Anna Marie Michel, 61, of Mikado, passed away Monday, June 10, 2024 at her home.

Born December 3, 1962, to Brian and Deanna (Hart) Schemanski, she was raised in Mikado.  Anna attended Oscoda Area Schools.  After school, she followed her passion in helping others.  Her career ranged from helping in assisted living to working as a cashier.  She would even help others with their gardens.  Anna was involved with her church, Community of Christ, in Mikado.  A woman of faith, Anna was helping others as much as she could.  She enjoyed fishing, camping, and gardening, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and sharing her faith.  

Anna is survived by her daughter, Farrhen (Todd) Ellis, her son, Richard (Joy) Kalinowski, grandchildren, Breanna (Emery) Tulgetske, Colin, Victoria, Aaron, Shane, Loraine, Lillian, and Richard IV, great grandchildren, Parker, Archer, and Xavier, her significant other, Tim Deller, her sisters, Yolanda Wynn, Debra Mahalak, and Brenda Newcombe, her father, Brian Schemanski, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Deanna, her sister, Patricia Alderman, and her nephew, Michael Mahalak.  

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln.
